Synopsis
The cocaine industry is one of the most profitable in the world. Selling at $1000 a kilo in Colombia, the same amount is worth €30,000 in Paris, a 30-fold increase. In order to ship these goods from South America to Europe the traffickers are constantly devising new routes and imaginative ways to outwit the police.
We followed the perpetrators of this global movement of organised crime, from underground “coke” laboratories in the heart of the Amazon jungle, to the wholesalers and “mules” who transport the drugs, all the way to the final stop: Paris, the biggest consumer of cocaine in Europe.
Across over 10,000 kilometres, these traffickers manage to dodge surveillance and police across three continents.
