For the last 100 years, The Hornby Group has dominated the world of model making - its name is synonymous with the hobby.

Since 1920 Hornby has inspired a cult-like following with thousands of hobbyists willing to part with hundreds of pounds of their hard-earned cash to satisfy their desire to acquire, collect, and replicate some of the world’s most recognisable and iconic planes, trains and automobiles, all at a scale of 1:76.

With exclusive access to Hornby from board level down, this series follows the company in its centenary year and the army of dedicated engineers, makers, collectors and exhibitors who keep them at the top. It will also look in detail at the incredible machines that are replicated with the most stunning pinpoint accuracy to ensure that they are as true to the real-life machines as is possible.
