Synopsis
Nicholas and Alexandra: The Letters explores the relationship between Tsar Nicholas II of Russia and Tsarina Alexandra, and the roles they played in the lead-up to the 1917 Russian Revolution. The two-parter will focus on the couple’s intimate and never before seen letters, which chronicle their eccentric religious views, political ineptitude and reliance on mystic Rasputin.
