Synopsis
Most of the time when Canadians think about nature, they think about far off places untouched by humans. But the reality is people have been a part of nearly every Canadian landscape for thousands of years, so what if our concept of nature included people? In Canada’s UNESCO Biosphere Reserves, communities struggle to strike a balance between environmental conservation and economic prosperity. Striking Balance goes coast to coast in cinematic 4K to create an epic journey which might change the way we think about the natural world, and our place in it.
